Joe Glen Duncan, age 64, of Waco, passed away at his home on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
Graveside Service: 10:30AM Monday, March 3, 2025, at Driver Cemetery in Teague, Texas.
Joe was born on August 15, 1960, in Freeport, Texas. Joe enjoyed being a long-haul truck driver for several years. He often spoke of the beautiful places he had traveled to. Later he became a restaurant cook, he also loved cooking for family and friends. One of his favorite things was listening to and singing gospel music. He did not always get it right, but he loved the Lord and was confident he would be with Jesus when he passed.
Joe was preceded in death by parents, William M. Duncan and Mildred Duncan; stepdad Roy Medlock; nieces, Jennifer King Kelley and Macy Lynae Bachtel; nephew, Marcus Shane Bachtel.
He is survived by his birth mother, Glenda Medlock of Brownwood, Texas; son, Joe G. Duncan, Jr.; sisters, Billie King (Miller) of Waco, Texas, Betty Bachtel (Mark) of Wills Point, Texas, Deanna Woolwine of Goldthwaite, Texas, Sandra Irwin (Allen) of Brownwood, Texas and Vicki McLaughlin (Pat) of Brownwood, Texas and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
