JoAnn Salazar, 41, of Waco, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend, Waco. Family will receive friends from 5-6pm at the funeral home, and a Rosary Service will be led from 6-8pm following the visitation. JoAnn was born August 27, 1971 to Pete Lopez and Lala Rosales in Waco. She graduated from Connally High School and went on to get her CNA license and serve the community with her caring nature. JoAnn enjoyed cooking and listening to music. She liked dancing and being with her family and friends. JoAnn was a devoted mother to her children, a beloved sister, and a faithful wife.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Kesada of Waco; a daughter, Desiree Salazar and fiance Eduardo Sanchez of Waco; two sons, Ricardo Salazar and wife Felicia of Ft. Worth, and Gabriel Salazar of Waco; three sisters, Rita and husband Ruben Hinojosa of Waco, Janie and husband Jesse Soto of Waco, Tressa and husband Joaquin Aranda of Waco; two brothers, Sam Aquirre and wife Yvonne of Waco, and Michael Rosales of Waco; 2 grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
