Joan Agnes Agnew, 83, of Waco, died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 surrounded by her loved ones.

Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at St. Philip Catholic Church.

Burial: Oakwood Cemetery.

Joan loved her family very much. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was the backbone to the family and her family was her world. Joan will be very missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Foxx Agnew who died December 20, 2015; her daughter, Barbara Agnew; and her parents and grandparents.

Joan is survived by her daughters, Laurie Agnew, Constance Agnew (Julian), Nancy Patton and Elizabeth Layne (Robert); sons, Terrance Agnew (Denise) and Paul Agnew (Carmen); 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
