We are extremely sadden by the passing of Mr. Seabolt. I remember him as one of the kindest most fair supervisors ever. I worked for Mr. Seabolt for several years until I actually married the man he introduced me to and encouraged me to get to know. Many thanks to you Jim you actually changed my life for me by your direction in which you sent me. I will never forget and I send tight hugs and prayers to your precious family. You will be missed.

We just returned to town and was so shocked at Jim’s passing. Jim was such great guy to work with these past 20+ years,there are so many great memories. Always a gracious man to work with and willing to help out with any problems we might be having. Debbie & family, we are so sorry and send you our love and deepest sympathy.

I have had the pleaseure of knowing and working with Jim for several years, and I am going to miss getting beat up on price for everything that I ever sent him. After I sent Jim a proposal I knew that I would be getting a call to say " everything looks great, Except, you are just a little high, can you look at the numbers again" Jim you will be missed. Than you Jim.

I got to know Jim as a client and then a vendor. I recall he always greeted everyone with that big smile. One fond memory I have is when we had just started negotiating on a project. He walked in and grabbed one of the donuts on the table not knowing that I had supplied them. After realizing I had brought them he then asked how much was that donut going to cost him? I then told him not to worry and take another. We both laughed.

It has always been my tradition to bring donuts.

I visited Jim at the hospice and, of course, brought him some donuts. He recognized the bag
from Shipley’s and I got that big smile.

He will be missed.

I really enjoyed getting to know Jim over the years as a vendor, even though he could be just a little stubborn at times asking for his "Seabolt Discount" or giving me a hard time because I didn’t bring him any cookies, I will always be grateful that I could call him my friend. He will be missed.

Have known Jim for many years and it’s amazing in our industy how many people you work with become good friends.
Jim is a great man and will be missed.

Jim and Debbie welcomed us into their home to help care for Jim. We found many times that Jim cared for us just as much as we did for him with his guidance, wisdom, and wit. He made us stronger as his body grew weaker but his spirit will forever be with us and made us better. We will always remember his words, when we just weren’t doing it quite right "FOCUS!". God prepares us a place in heaven, I hope they are prepared for J H Seabolt.

Debbie, You and Jim have always been the kind of people I’ve been proud to call friends. I can only offer sincere condolences and a hug next time we meet.

Deepest condolences to Jim’s family for the loss of a great man and a consummate professional in every aspect. Thanks Jim for always being there and listening with an empathetic ear and a reasonable head. You were terrific at your job and it has been a pleasure being a key supplier to your artery chain for almost 12 years. A big thanks for literally opening the doors at the 11th hour and assisting your very late supplier unload a UHAUL of well over 150 boxes right on the airport tarmac as the engines were blazing away. Thanks for not giving me too much grief over the years for our major shank. I will always remember and appreciate your unparalleled support and gracious approach! Peace be with you my friend!

I am so sorry about the loss of your husband. I was only notified today from one of his colleagues at L-3. We only visited by telephone and he was always so gracious.

I have worked numerous programs with Jim over the last 20 years as the program engineering manager. In one of the first programs we were having a "lively" discussion and at the end he said "Just remember the materials guy is always your best friend". From that point I always referred to him as my best friend. He will be missed both as a fellow employee and as my best friend.
