A born-again child of God, he was the youngest son of thirteen children that make up the Thomas Nation. He was an All Star, State Champion football player with the Parkview Pacers. He ministered the Gospel of the Kingdom at Planned Parenthood on a weekly basis to save the lost and spare lives. He served diligently with the national ministry, Operation Save America.

Jeremiah did not waste his cancer. He wrote and released, “A Letter to My Generation.” It has gone worldwide. His Make A Wish went viral as well. Instead of going to Disney World or meeting a celebrity, Jeremiah asked to meet with Gov. Abbott to discuss a bill of abolition in Texas. Though Make a Wish could not make it happen, it happened anyway. His talk with Gov. Abbott about outlawing abortion in Texas circled the globe. Gov. Abbott responded, “Your wish has been granted.”

Jeremiah’s life, message, and testimony has reached into the church world, the sports world, the political world, and even Hollywood. His story has been picked up by national and international and news agencies, including Fox News. He was featured as a “Midnight Hero” on the Shannon Bream show.

The Daily Mail, the 2nd largest newspaper in London, also ran his story. Italy picked it up and the largest pro-life student group contacted him to discuss how to abolish abortion in their country.

Recent gubernatorial candidate for Governor from Oklahoma, Dan Fisher, did a special interview with Jeremiah since he ran on the platform of abolishing abortion in his state. State Representative Tony Tinderholt who has and will introduce another bill of abolition in Texas honored Jeremiah with a Texas State Resolution.

The Resolution stated in part, “Jeremiah Thomas…has confronted adversity with a spirit of self-less courage… Jeremiah has demonstrated a strength of character that is an inspiration to everyone around him…An exceptional young man…Jeremiah Thomas be honored for his extraordinary bravery and advocacy.”

His short life has brought great glory to God. He has touched and transformed many lives throughout the world. “To live is Christ and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21).

Good night for now precious son, we will see you in the morning.

Jeremiah was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ann Thomas.

Left to cherish his legacy are his parents, Rusty and Kendra Thomas; Sisters Shekinah Gray and husband Levi, Cassia Wachsmann and husband Robby, Destiny Hall and husband Caleb, Charity Peterson and husband Josh, Maranatha Thomas, Sophia Thomas, Torah Thomas and Jubilee Thomas; Brothers Elijah Thomas and wife Lindsey, Micah Thomas and wife Bella, Josiah Thomas, and Valiant Thomas.

The family would also like to extend a special thank you to Matthew Tringali, Robby Wachsmann and Pastor Dale Sochia, Church at Tree lake, Parkview Baptist Church, Coach Bryce Frasier, Pastor Ronnie Holmes, abolitionists everywhere and OSA Leaders and Laborers.

In lieu of flowers, donations in the name of Jeremiah Thomas can be sent to Operation Save America, PO Box 740066, Dallas, TX 75374.

Many prayers with you in Jesus name. We had hoped for Jeremiah to receive a miracle and stay with us a bit longer but thankful for the time we did get to have him and he certainly was used by our God to impact my life as well as many others i see who never even met him personally, with our God’s Grace and to bring Awareness, much more on Abortion . It was such a blessing to pray for Him and I believe his calling is even more than was planned for him on this earth and something tells me that he is alive and close to Jesus as our Lord prepares for His return. Until we see you again brother Jeremiah, i know i will be advocating a lot more than before i met you to save as many babies from Abortion and i also know you are still alive with your our Jesus, our Savior that Lives and many other Saints. I pray for you Thomas family also that you will be debt free financially from all this and thank you for sharing Jeremiah Thomas with us. He showed us how to stand firm in the Word of God and Faith in our Jesus until the end here on Earth!! “Jeremiah Strong”~>>> Jesus is Lord!!!

  19. Rusty and Kendra you have such an amazing family and a beautiful son. We are so inspired by his strength. He is flying with the angels and you will see him again. We will never know how many people you have brought to know our Lord and Saviour. You spoke and stood your ground on those that can not speak for themselves. The Lord used you in a mighty way for your generation. You never falter on your beliefs or faith in God’s word. The angels are rejoicing in Heaven and Jesus has His loving arms around you. You have been a faithful servant for our Lord. Your legacy will live on. I thank you for being an inspiration to me. May God comfort your family and friends during this time. Your parents did an awesome job in raising you. We have God’s word that we shall see you again. God Bless You and I shall continue to pray for your family that God will comfort and give them peace.

  25. Thank you for sharing your precious son with the rest of us. He fought to save the lives of the innocent unborn and has been a light shining in the darkness. He accomplished more for God’s Kingdom in his 16 years than most will in a lifetime. Praying for your peace and comfort until you are reunited with Jeremiah.

  26. Rhonda Tauakitau

My heart weeps as i watched and learned of Jeremiahs story and beautiful testimony. I prayed and leaned on Papa to bring a miracle for you all. It is with sorrow and grief that I now stand in prayers for your family to find the strenght and comfort during your healing process as well. Jeremiah changed things in this world, he has fulfilled God’s purpose and plans.
For I know the plans I have for you. Each one of us are called. Jeremiah has reminded me of that. Thank you very, very much for continuing to share your son with us. We have so much to learn yet as we live in Christ. How and what we are to do. Jeremiah knew it from the start and didn’t quit til it was his time to go.
    In His Time.
    Rhonda Tauakitau

  27. Donna & Bernie Calvin

Kendra, Rusty, & The Thomas Nation. Your trial & sharing your son’s witness & testimony that Jesus Christ is really sitting at the right hand of God in heaven has helped equip me to deal with the deadly, incurable, fatal disease my husband, Bernie, has been diagnosed with called pulmonary fibrosis. Your faith has encouraged & increased mine. Thank you a million times. May you be blessed with Abiding Comfort in this time of great mourning. Amen.

  28. Love and prayers for the family. What a beautiful soul that has flown to Heaven.

  29. I have followed Jeremiah’s story from the beginning. I know I will never know a more courageous, loving, faithful servant like Jeremiah again. He is beyond his years in wisdom and his heart was made for all of us to share. Jesus’s plan for Jeremiah was successfully done. All of us have been Blessed and know Jesus more than ever. Jeremiah has brought so much hope and Faith to so many. I Praise you Lord for lending us Jeremiah for a little while. I hope to see you in Heaven with our Glorious Saviour Jesus Christ. I love you my Brother in Christ.

  30. He suffers no more. He has touched the hearts of more people than he could ever imagine. Someday I will meet you. You’re an amazing young man who is an inspiration to all. My heart and prayers go out to his family and friends. ❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️

  33. Jack & Mei Neima

Jeremiah has been a great influence while he pointed to Christ for our listeners all over the world. I would recieve many phone calls, “How is Jeremiah doing.?”
Thanks for being in this world with us.

  34. Mark and Sally Milliken
Our deepest sympathy goes out to your beautiful family , you did an outstanding job raising your amazing son Jeremiah . This young man was a true hero and never wavered in his faith, he was a gift to the world and he will forever be remembered . We will miss you sweet Jeremiah ,you are now with our Savior Jesus Christ . God bless you all .

  35. Richard Joseph Dialessi

I am deeply saddened by the loss of this american hero, he saved so many lives and ministered the word of the innocent, may he wear a cloak of white in heaven, my prayers are with the Thomas family and friends, I have no words for the tradgedy of passing at such a young age, especially after a life of saving those who were doomed to pass away much younger

  36. When that place is no longer occupied, who is there? When I don’t have a brother , who is there ? When the children don’t have an earthly father, who is there? God himself is there. God the father the Son and the Holy Spirit , the Trinity that are everywhere present at one time. And our heart hurts because we have lost a big love with Jeremiah, not a small love. It is going to hurt because we have lost something precious. But we remember through our pain that it’s a temporary separation. We weep for ourselves, but rejoice for Jeremiah!!! This is not the end, but we must occupy. We must occupy until we are reunited. Through our tears, we put on the garment of praise. We Thank the GOOD GOOD FATHER again for what he loaned AND WILL RETURN tonus again one day!!

  37. To the family of Jeremiah Thomas
Prayers for comfort in your time of sorrow.
God has bigger plans for Jeremiah.
He will live on forever in our hearts.
I never met him or you, but I love you all.
    RIP Jeremiah. 💞💞💞
    Gd bless you all.

  39. To the Thomas Family,
I heard about Jeremiah on VCY America’s Crosstalk yesterday. My heart goes out to your family. What a brave soldier of the cross Jeremiah was! So much attention has gone to Sen. John McCain, who was a war hero, yet he never fought in the army of the Lord Jesus Christ. He embraced some views that God abhors. He has his service medals and rightfully so. However, Jeremiah Thomas was the greater hero for he spoke out for the unborn and for biblical values boldly in the face of venomous opposition. His rewards await him in heaven. He was the greater hero in my opinion!

  40. Jeremiah was such a blessing to us all. Even though I never got to meet him in person, I grew to love him as one of my own. He brought so many people together all around the world with his faith in our heavenly father. His legacy will live on and abortion will be demolished not only in Texas but in all states. Jeremiah, I know that God is pleased with what you accomplished and is holding you tightly saying well done my son, well done.

  41. My condolences to this family. I didn’t know Jeremiah but learned of his illness through a former coworker. My heart ached for Jeremiah. Seeing this young soul suffer and watch and see the pain he and his Family endured is horrific. Thank you Jeremiah for saving so many lives in your short time here on earth. You definitely touched so many people across the world. RIP sweet Jeremiah for I hope to meet you some day. You are my hero😢😢😢😢

  42. Although I never knew Jeremiah it was a privilege to follow the remarkable story of this young servant of God. No matter how challenging the days grew or how difficult his suffering, Jeremiah’s message always turned our eyes to God’s faithfulness. His focus was always Jesus and so often God was on display. Today Jeremiah is in the presence of his Lord and Savior and the young servant knows that He was worth it all, all the loss and all the pain & suffering. Jesus is so worthy.
Our deep sympathy goes to his family and we pray that God’s presence would bring you much rest, comfort and strength.

  43. So young and so brave. He is an Angel now smiling down. Rest In Peace Little Angel.

  44. Jeremiah was (and still is) a beautiful soul. He came to the earth with a work to do, and I have no doubt that the Lord was there to meet him when he crossed the veil to say, “Well done, thy good and faithful servant.” How appropriate that he was ordained to be Jeremiah, for this scripture in Jeremiah could not be more appropriate. I am 100% sure that before Jeremiah was formed in the womb, the Lord sanctified him. “Jeremiah 1:5, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Thank you, Jeremiah, for changing the world.

  45. I grieve with you. I did not know him but he seems like a most wonderful son. Such a brave boy. Praise be to God.

  46. Bernadette Corridan

Dear Thomas Family, I’ve only known about Jeremiah fofor a very short while but I’ve been praying for him and his healing either here or in heaven. I’ve just read that he has gone back to the Father and my heart heavy for your loss. I know your beautiful boy is rejoicing, safely back in the loving arms that 16 years ago passed him to you to teach him and shape him into him the beacon of light he became in the darkest places of this world. My prayers are now for you all that by God’s grace, despite your sadness you will know and feel in your hearts the joy and celebration of Jeremiah’s entrance into the Kingdom and find comfort and peace that he is Home. Love and prayers from Bernadette in London, England.

  47. Jeremiah showed us how to live out John 3:30. I was and am very blessed to be a part of knowing this precious family through Parkview. Rusty and Kendra y’all are in our prayers. Just know Jeremiah has enspired me to keep sharing the gospel all over Texas even when it’s tough. Number 5 will forever be in our hearts and a blast of strength for me to press on the good fight. We love y’all, all the Thomas family.

  48. My condolences to your family in your time of loss. I pray God gives each of you peace now and in the coming days. What an extraordinary young man! It’s amazing to read about your loved one and how selfless he was. I know his life will leave an imprint on all those who knew and loved him and all of us that only read about him.

  49. Barbara Andersen

    Rusty, Kendra and Children,

Your faith and service to our Lord Jesus Christ are the foundation to Jeremiah’s legacy. We all have been encouraged and blessed by your strong family ties and display of true selfless love and sharing of Jeremiah’s deeply personal struggle. When some would have withdrawn and stayed to themselves, your true love for the Gospel and desire for God to be glorified trumped personal tragedy. Jeremiah willingly gave of himself during his most trying times with a smile and always a polite demeanor. He was a remarkable man, His “wish” will continue to yield fruit in our nation and around the world. We are thankful to have been graced by being a part of your story and your life’s work which Jeremiah so faithfully displayed,

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord, fo he will be like a tree planted by the stream, and will not fear when the heat comes but it’s leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought, nor cease to yield fruit. “
    Jeremiah 17-7-8

  50. I remember meeting Jeremiah and the Thomas family years ago at Church on the Rock Waco. Our families grew with Christ together. Jeremiah always was a fighter in all he did. May God continue to bless the Thomas family during this time. During his short time on this earth, he lived! I’m honor to have known him and the family! May God give each of you comfort and peace.

  51. Tears and more tears may I be as brave as your beautiful son, brother friend in Christ Jesus always. Thank you so much for sharing his testimony and trials of pain and sufferings. But glory to God Jeremiah is no more in pain no more to suffer. Alleluiah!

  52. I will miss Jeremiah a whole lot. He was a great friend to me at the OSA events . He has inspired a whole lot I have drawn closer to the Lord each day because of the words he said. In honor of Jeremiah Thomas i am going to share his letter with 376 students in the high school ministry at my church. And i am planning on sharing with a few other churches near me.
    Love you all God bless
    I’m praying for you all

  53. Praise God for giving me the opportunity to know Jeremiah and the Thomas Family. I Prayed earnestly asking God to give Jeremiah a Miracle and allow him to spread God’s word to the world. God had other Plans and I take solace in knowing Jeremiah now rests in the Loving Arms of our Precious Savior. My heart was broken and especially for Jeremiah’s family. I am so sorry you lost a wonderful son whom we all Loved Thank You for sharing Jeremiah with us and May God Bless each of you. I prayed with you and was uplifted by his strong determination and strength. God’s blessing, and comfort to you, his family. Jeremiah you were a bright witness of a strong man during a time when it is much needed, Blessings.

  55. Although I did not know Jeremiah personally his love for God deeply touched me! He never wavered from his faith reguardless of all the Afflictions that satan threw upon him! Praying that God provides comfort and love as you deal with the loss of Jeremiah.

  56. Rosemary Castellano

    Rest with the King Jeremiah

  57. Jeremiah will meet with Jesus soon! He excited his new home in heaven!
Prayer his parents, friends mind Jesus! He is good brave, strong see the Lord Jesus Christ!

  58. Dear Thomas Family,
I say- well done to you. You raised a mighty man of God- No small feat in this day of apostasy and evil. I cried when I heard he had won his race- because we need an army of Jeremiahs in this land. My cry is for that army to rise up- and Maranatha- Come quickly Lord Jesus! My heart was broken for you since I first read about your exceptional son. To lose such a brilliant young man is a great loss to us all. I pray his leagacy of love keeps rolling and building and touches every single person!

  59. Such an inspiring young man your child was. The story brought me to tears My heart is still raw from the loss of my son earlier this month, though he was middle aged, he was still my child. Jeremiah has touched so many people, every one who has heard of his wish. I believe he performed a service to his passionate detractors also. I believe they were so angry because his example awakened and disturbed their consciences. We may only hope that their consciences will remain awakened and disturbed by Jeremiah’s wish. Then, who knows, perhaps one day they will use their passion for a worthy cause. Due to Jeremiah’s legacy.

  60. Catherine Piazza

    Dear Thomas family,

I have followed Jeremiah’s journey from the beginning. Your entire family has shown the world how a true Christian handles a crisis. Walking the true narrow path is difficult and rately seen. Your son was used by God to show us all and remind us all of who our first love is for. May he rest in his Saviours arms. God bless you all.

  61. Jeremiah is an incredible young man. Thank you for sharing him with us all. God certainly received someone special in heaven. God’s blessings and comfort to all of you.

  62. Thank you Jeremiah for your courage,_for your life and for your heart!Pray for the young generations ,be their protecting angel in all their choices! You are in the light of God , help us to live following that light! Thank you !

  63. Dear Thomas Family, As I read about this extremely rare young man who gives of himself more then one can think of, I have to say what a beautiful job you as parents have done in raising him to be the kind and loving young man that he was. Please except my sincerest condolences for your loss. And as Bible readers that you are, I know you are aware of the wonderful hope that Jesus gives us at John 5:28+29 that we will see him again right here on earth. And how God feels about death at 1Corinthians 15:26. Please be encouraged when you reflect on those passages once again.

  64. Jeremiah Waldrop

What an amazing young man! Talk about a shooting star!!! He did more in his short time than most do with 100 years! He inspires me every time I’m reminded of him to get out and get loud spreading the Gospel!!!! He is the instant reminder of what is important in life! WOW!! Let’s GO!

    Thank you,
    Jeremiah Waldrop

  65. Jeremiah was a wonderful witness for our LORD!!! I’m so grateful for his witness and faithfulness to the end. He has been a real example and encouragement to me.
May the LORD bless you and keep you, and make His Face shine upon you, and give you peace.

  66. IT. DOESN’T MAKE SENCE TO US BUT SOMETIMES IN OUR PASSING IT.S OUR GREATEST TIME OF WITNESS TO A DYING WORLD. I.M 84, MARRIED 65 YRS, JUST LOST MY HUSBAND IN JAN. HE WAS 90. OND HE HAD BEEN SEEING ANGELS WAITING FOR HIM, HE ALSO PASSED WHEN ALL OF OUR FAMILY WAS REPEATING THE LORDS PRAYER WITH OUR PASTOR. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY ABUNDANTLY.
