Jasper Donald Cozort, age 88, passed away September 21, 2020.

 Service Information:  Visitation will be 6-8 pm Friday, October 2 at Lake Shore Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 2pm Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 South Interstate 35 Robinson, Texas 76706.

Jasper was born June 10, 1932 and raised in Oakwood, Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma City University and was an Air Force veteran. He married Norma Garza in 1960 in Oklahoma City, Ok . Jasper was preceded in death by Parents Jeb and Elsie (Chastain) Cozort; Brothers Bremond and Wayne Cozort, Sister Maryanna Sullins. Survived by wife Norma Cozort; sister Lorene Welsh, brother Roice Cozort;  Sons Michael Cozort and wife Edythe of Waco, Phillip Cozort and wife Kim of Pauls Valley, Ok.; Grandchildren  Keith  Cozort and wife Jessica, Kathryn Dickerson and husband Chase, Chris, Tyler, and Samantha Cozort; Great Grandchildren Kimberlyn, Cole and Cade Cozort and Reid Dickerson along with many brothers and sister in laws and nieces and nephews. We will miss him dearly.

  4. I met J.D. and Norma in Margie Parrigin’s line dance class in 2008. They have been a joy to know all these years. They loved to dance and we loved having them dance with us! They celebrated their 60th anniversary in February 2020. I’m so sorry for the loss of J.D.. His family and friends are in my prayers.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
