Jaqueline “Jackie” Diane Davis 61 of China Spring, passed away February 27, 2023 in Waco.

Viewing/Visitation: 3PM –  5PM Saturday, March 4 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel.

Jackie was born December 15, 1961 to Bernard F. Ringer and Miriam V. Ringer. Jackie moved to China Spring in the 6th grade and graduated from China Spring High school in 1980. Jackie married the love of her life Jeff Davis April 20, 1996. They were blessed with two beautiful girls that they raised in China Spring. Jackie worked at Jeff’s family owned business Krispy Chicken on 11th Street for many years. She later went to work for China Spring ISD school district for 10 years. She worked in the cafeteria and she assisted in many classrooms as a paraprofessional. Jackie also drove bus 58 for the school district. Jackie loved living life to the fullest; she enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working with kids, beach trips with friends and family, and most importantly spending time with her girls.

She was preceded in death by her father. Bernard F. Ringer and mother Miriam V. Ringer; grandparents, Arthur and Minnie Burkhart, Benjamin F. Ringer and Myrtle Freedman; brother, Ronnie Ringer; sister in law, Cindy Ringer; nephew, Jon Ringer; and her loving husband, Jeff Davis, who passed away last November.

Jackie is survived by her two precious daughters of China Spring, Meagan and Katie Davis; brother, Ricky and wife Rebecca Ringer; nieces and nephews; Jennifer Ringer, John and wife Lindsey Reiman, Joey Ringer and Samantha Maclntyre, Tiffany and husband Richard Steffan; great nephews, Sammi, Jack, Ryan, and Jordan; numerous cousins, and many dear and close friends. Last but not least her fur babies.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Heather Donica, Arlene Gilchrest, Paula Henningsen, Kelly Holecek, Truckmotive family, and the whole China Spring Community for their continued love and support to Jeff and Jackie’s daughters, Meagan and Katie. The family appreciates you all.

Jackie’s favorite color was purple. The family would like to ask everyone to wear something purple to represent her.
