Jannie Taylor, 66, of Waco, passed away at Greenview Manor on Sunday, December 13, 2020 in Waco, TX.

Service Information: Please join us between 6pm – 8pm on Wednesday, December 16, at Lake Shore Funeral Home. Jannie’s wish was to be cremated, so there will be no funeral. She always said “You’re not putting me in the ground for the worms to eat me!”

Jannie was born in Waco, TX to Donnie Clifford Taylor and Marion Ann Taylor. She grew up in Bellmead and attended school at LaVega ISD. Jannie was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmaw, sister, aunt and friend. She was a handful but she had a very big heart. She would help anybody that was in need. She loved to clean, rearrange the furniture in the house, sing karaoke, dance and drink a beer or two with family and friends. Her favorite thing to do was shop at Goodwill and Caritas and most of all, she loved to drive her car fast and was always on the go.

Jannie was preceded in death by her parents, Donnie C and Marion “Button” Taylor; brother, Tommy Taylor.

She leaves behind a daughter and son-in-law, Lorie and Marcus Walts; a son, Ricky Horn; grandkids,  Kayla, Kristen, Kelsey, Savannah, and Tyler; great-grandkids, Kannon, Kamrey, Kason, Kennedy, Wyatt, Whitlee, Waylenn, and Holden; brothers, Donnie Jr. Taylor and wife, Ann, Ronnie Taylor, and wife, Cindy, and Late Tommy Taylor and wife, Mary; sisters, Patricia Taylor and Carol Taylor; and many nieces, and nephews.

Jannie loved dogs, especially her baby, Nelson. If you would like,  donations may be made to Fuzzy Friends in her name.
