Jacquelyn “Jackie” Davis passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022.

Visitation: 3 – 5PM Sunday, December 18 at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel.

Jackie was a lovely, sweet, and smart lady. She was born December 28, 1937 to Warren and Dortha Reed. She was raised by her grandparents, Elton and Johnnie McGowan.

She graduated from University High in 1956. In 1957 she married James Davis and a year later they had their only child, Deborah. Jackie lived in or near Waco except for a few years in Louisiana since James was stationed there.

Jackie was always a busy bee. She was a wife, mother, and full-time employee. Some of her workplaces were Mornings Dept. Store, Grove Printing, and Life Partners Insurance where she was head of final operations until 2000. She later served as a director for a number of years. After retirement, she had time to enjoy her grandchildren, her home, and old movies.

Jackie is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and grandparents.

She is survived by daughter, Deborah; two grandchildren, Andrew and Alex; three great grandchildren, Thomas, Donovan, and Eli; aunt, Janie; and many other relatives.

In Jackie’s memory please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association.
