Irene Mary Waddle, 85 of McGregor, passed away Wednesday, April 30th at her residence. Funeral services will be 2PM Thursday, May 1st at First Baptist Church in Moody with Rev. Tom Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in Old Perry Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Irene was born May 22, 1922 in Rector, Arkansas to Alford and Bessie Lee (Pendergrass) McGinthy. She married Charles F. Waddle, Sr. on September 3, 1946 in St. Louis, MO. She was a homemaker. She moved to the Moody-McGregor area in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and two grandsons, Charles Waddle, III and James Waddle.
Survivors include daughters, Bessie Casper of Minnesota and Donna Mae Goodrich and husband, Reggy of Florida; sons, Earl Fredrick Zumwalt and wife, Julie and Robert Zumwalt, both of Missouri, Charles Waddle, Jr. and wife, Gwen of McGregor, Daniel Waddle and wife, Cathy of Missouri; twenty-three grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.
