Herbert Jamar Montgomery, 37, passed away February 11, 2019 in Waco.
Memorial Service: 10:00 AM Turesday, Feb. 19 at Lake Shore Funeral Home with Rev. Brill Stone officiating.
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
Reception will follow at Hopewell Baptist Church, 124 Seley in Axtell.
Jamar was born September 19, 1981 at Hillcrest Hospital to Kathy Montgomery and Herbert H. Harrison. He attended school in Axtell, and was employed at Arconic Fastening Systems. He loved to fish, go to the car auction, and lawn and gardening. He was briefly married, and had 3 children, Anthony, Arika and Alexis. He united with Yolanda Johnson in June of 2016.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Harrison, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Kathy Montgomery; children Anthony, Arika and Alexis Duran; sisters Shyneka Montgomery, and Cherbert Harrison, and a brother, Jessie Berry; nieces and nephew Kyndall and Maddox Hamilton and Amaryka McMillon; and many beloved aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
