Helen Fiew Benton Myres, 98, of Waco, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 24, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Amos Humphries officiating. Burial will follow at Frost Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, May 23, at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco.

Helen Fiew Benton Myres was born August 31, 1913, in Frost, Navarro County to John Thomas and Elizabeth (Denn) Fiew. Helen was a housewife and member of Park Lake Drive Baptist Church for many years.

She was preceded in death by first husband, William F. Benton; second husband, Noah F. Myres; son, James
