Glenda Richards Condo

In Memorial

Glenda Richards Condo, 58,  of Hillsboro, passed away May 18, 2014, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Visitation: 6 – 8 PM, Wednesday, May 21, Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr., Waco, Texas, 76708

Funeral Service: 10 AM, Thursday, May 22, Lakenon Baptist Church,  406 HCR 4350, Hillsboro, Texas 76645

Glenda was born March 14, 1956 in Lubbock, Texas, to Lorenzo and Mary Sue (Lindsey) Blocker. She was a loving, kind, and gentle woman, who absolutely adored children, as they did her. Everyone, blood kin or just kin of the heart, called her “Meemaw”. Saying you were going to “Meemaw’s” would elicit a response similar to an announcement of a trip to a theme park- excitement and joy! Besides the little living angels in her life, Glenda had a beautiful collection Angels and Dolls. She was a very creative and crafty woman, always decorating the house, or cooking, or coming up with ideas for crafts. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her parents; one son, Danny Richards, and wife, Dayla, of Ft. Worth; one daughter, Angela Cvikel and husband, Chris, of Hillsboro; four grandchildren, Miccah, Bethany, J.J., and Dylan; one brother, Mark Blocker and wife, Janice, of Hillsboro; as well as many beloved other children and friends who were like family, and especially “the babies”.

Thank you to all of our extended family, for the love you showered “Meemaw” with… she is forever your guardian angel.
