Giles Carter Edwards, 82, of China Spring, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 14th, 2010. Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17th at the China Spring United Methodist Church, with Pastor Allen Grant and Pastor Darlene Grant officiating. Burial will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. . Giles was born June 29th, 1927 in Harriman, Tennessee. He grew up in a large family, learned at a young age the value of a strong work ethic, served our country in the United States Air Force for four years, and was a salesman and business owner in the Waco area for a number of years.

Most importantly, Giles was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. He was an active member of the China Spring United Methodist Church and was a man of great faith. He freely accepted God

    Dolly, I’m so very sorry to see of Giles passing.I didn’t know he was in a Nursing Home in Kerrville,or even that he had any health problems. My Prayers are with you.
