Georgina Gaye Fox

Friday, August 31, 2018, Georgina Gaye Fox, loving sister, mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 71.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM Sunday, September 23rd at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

Gina was born on March 15, 1947 in Detroit, MI to Harry (Johnny) and Betty Koupeny. She had two sons, David (deceased) and Jon Fox, and five grandchildren: David’s children, Noah, Jesse and Madison Fox, and Jon’s children, Lindsey and Eli Fox.

Gina had a passion for music and could often be found at live performance events in and around Waco. She also loved to crochet, loved travel, card- and board-games, NASCAR and most of all attending and supporting her grandchildren’s academic, sporting, musical and theatrical activities. She was an active member of Antioch Community Church.

Gina is survived by Jon; her daughter-in-law, Becky; her five grandchildren; her sisters, Marti Jo Wedderburn and Toni Bennett; her brother, Drew Cheney; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu or gifts or flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The VH1 Save the Music Foundation in Gina’s name.
