Dear Karen, my sweet friend–I was sorry to hear of your father’s passing. Although I didn’t know him, I do know you and your life speaks volumes about his strength and character without your uttering a word. He was an exceptionally accomplished man, and a member of the “Greatest Generation”. Our country will miss their influence more than we know. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
