Fay Manske,71, of Waco, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at her residence. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 8, at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco with Chaplain Judy Prather officiating. Visitation will follow the service. Fay was born on April 8, 1941 and raised in Cleburne. She moved to Waco in the late 1950’s. Fay worked as a sales clerk in Waco at Sears, Cox’s, Goldstein’s and Dillard’s. She loved to read and watch the Dallas Cowboys.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian (Penn) Lee; son, Mark Shafer.
Survivors include daughter, Robin Garrett; son, Randy Shafer; five grandchildren, Alisha LeAnne Garrett and husband Greg Iglehart, Brian, Theresa, James, Michael Shafer; three great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Jayden, Axl; brother, Jimmy Lee.

I worked with Fay for eight years at Dillards. She was a sweet lady and hard worker. She will be missed and my thoughts, love, prayers and hugs are with her family.
