Ethel Mae Lott, 85, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024, at her home in Waco, TX surrounded by her family.

Visitation:  6pm to 8pm Friday, December 20, 2024, at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Funeral Service:  10am Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Lake Shore Funeral Home

Interment:  Moore Cemetery, Chalk Bluff

Ethel was born May 31, 1939, in Topeka, Kansas, to Sterling Price and Fern E. Wilson Taylor. Ethel graduated from Highland Park High School in Kansas.

Ethel retired from M&M Mars in 2003. She was an avid Baylor Bear and Kansas Jayhawk fan.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gholson. Ethel adored her husband, daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ethel was always at one of the kids’ or grandkids’ events whether it was football, band, basketball, baseball, softball, piano lessons or guitar lessons.

Ethel married Charles T. Lott on May 29, 1965, in Topeka, KS. They had three children, Connie Tynes, Michael Lott, and Jefferey Lott. Ethel was preceded in death by her sons, Michael V. Lott and Jeffrey A. Lott; parents, Sterling Price and Fern E. Wilson Taylor; sisters, Doris M. Ladd and Katherine M. Boline; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Jean Lott; grandson, Kristian Tynes; nephews, Wayne Boline Jr, Randy Helms, and Richard Helms; great nephew, Adam Helms and great-niece, Janice Boline.

Ethel is survived by her husband, Charles T. Lott of Waco, TX; daughter, Connie Tynes of Waco, TX; granddaughters, Cassie Tynes and Carrie (John) Hudson of Waco, TX; great-grandchildren, Jediah Norman, Hadley Norman, Lillian Hudson, Luke Hudson, Ainsley Scarborough, Emmilieze Tynes of Waco TX, Ryan Baughman of Dallas, TX and Raylee Baughman of Waco, TX; great-great-grandson, Jaxon Uptmore; sister in law, Louise Stanley of Pascagoula, MS; nephews, Ronnie (Patty) Boline of Olathe, KS and Brad Lott of Pascagoula, MS; great-nephews, Brad (Crystal) Boline of Olathe, KS and Josh (Rebecca) Boline and children of Baldwin City, KS; nieces, Tina (David) Lee, Cindy ( Kenneth) Dixon, and Kelly Lott of Pascagoula, MS; great-niece, Courtney (Jeremy) Walker of Oklahoma; great-great-niece, Millie Boline of Olathe, KS; great-great nephew, Reagan Amason, great-great nephew, Hunter Helms, great-great nephew, Colten Helms, and great-great niece, Mackenzie Helms and numerous other family, friends and adopted grandkids.

Pallbearers are John Hudson, Jediah Norman, Daniel Norman, Ronnie Boline, Leland Marciel and Malakai Marciel.

Honorary Pallbearers are Luke Hudson, Rick Iglehart, and Brad Boline.
