Ernest C. Franklin, 60, of Waco, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021.
Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Central Texas Metropolitan Community Church
He is survived by two siblings, their families and many friends in the community.
To name just a few, Randy was a great friend to him these last several years and David was always ready to run errands or help in many other ways, especially as Ernest’s mobility declined. Ernest was a friendly man, always had a smile and a joke or a pun to share with all he encountered. His last days were eased by in-patient hospice care at Hillcrest. He found great compassion and acceptance at his church, Central Texas Metropolitan Community Church, and enjoyed participating to the extent he was able in their various outreach activities.
