I have been thinking about Eddie alot today and of all the crazy things that Mona and I did to him!!!! It makes me sad to think how you can love people so much and still allow time and space to create distance between you! Life is so short and in the blink of an eye everything changes and you never even get the chance to say good-bye! I Love You Eddie!!!!You,Mona and Dad were my family!!!!We shared alot of laughs (most of the time at ur expense..lol)and those memories are what I will hold in my heart!

    To Flaco,
We just met you, but we could tell you had a big heart and a very kind soul. You were easy to like so I’m sure you were very easy to Love. Thank You for stoppin by our house on Mother’s Day. Little did we know it would be the last time we would see you here on earth. You were a brief moment in our lives but you touched us,maybe because you were so close to getting your angel wings. We are praying that all who Love you can find comfort through memories of you, during this dark time.
You will be missed by us.

  17. There will come a day when the tears of sorrow will softly flow into tears of remembrance…and your heart will begin healing itself…and grieving will be interrupted by episodes of joy…and you will hear the whisper of hope. There will come a day when you will welcome the tears of remembrance…as a sun shower of the soul…a turning of the tide…a promise of peace. There will come a day when you will…risk loving…go on believing…and treasure the tears of remembrance. I have fought the fine fight, I have run the course to the finish, I have observed the faith.-2Timothy 4:7. As for me, I will lie down that I may sleep; I shall certainly awake, for Jehovah himself keeps supporting me. -Psalms 3:5

  26. Hey bro,
    i love u and miss u everyday!

  27. Eddie, my little cousin. Growing up with you in the 70’s and 80’s in Waco is a privilage to have had. I didn’t realize it back then, but wow what an honor it is. As we grew up, we saw each other maybe twice a year, whether it was at a restuarant in town or the grocery store on Wooded Acres, but you always had a big hug and smile for me. Never realizing it might be the last time I saw you. You are loved and I will miss that one chance encounter with you in town. Thank you for touching Mattie’s life too. He came home one day and told me "mom I got to spend the whole evening with my cousin Eddie" He smiled, showed me your cell number and talked about you often.
My only regret little cousin was not staying in touch.
God Bless my uncle Ed and cousin Mona and family.

    Syl

I am cousins with Tim Meadows. We lost Tim exactly one year ago on Mother’s Day… Tim and Eddie were very good friends. Eddie made a promise to Tim’s mother the day of Tim’s funeral… that he would be there for her and if she ever need anything she was to call him… Eddie kept his word… He remaied in contact with them… He visited Tim’s grave… He was that kind of person… He will be greatly missed. May God hold your hearts in his hand to lead you through this tough time.
