Edna Beatrice “Bea” Nunn passed away peacefully on May 23, 2023 in Waco Tx. Bea was born in Shamrock, TX on April 16, 1925 to Houston Roy and Eula Mae Clement. One of four children, Cecil, Bobbye and Betty, Bea attended Morton HS where she was a decorated athlete in basketball.
Bea went on to marry Woodfin Nunn in 1945 and they had four children, Roy, Vicki, Jan and Kelly Nunn.
After the passing of her husband Woody, Bea moved her family from Keyes, OK to Waco in 1965. She attended cosmetology school and worked as a beautician for 28 years.
She truly was a Godly lady who walked the walk. Her love for Jesus was evident in her service, love, and always putting others first. One of her greatest joys was being called “Ms. Bea” or “Momma Bea” by numerous friends of her youngest son in the Robinson High class of 80 and 81.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodfin Nunn; daughter, Vicki Nunn; son, Woodfin Roy Nunn; sister, Bobbye Hessenthaler; and brother, Cecil Clement.
She is survived by her sister, Betty Peterson; daughter, Jan Nunn Shiller; son, Kelly R Nunn and wife Judy Nunn; daughter in law, Gloria Skidgel Nunn; and seven grandchildren, Christoper John Shiller, Brad Shiller, Susan Harris, Kelly Ann Stoabs, Drew Maxwell Nunn, Joshua Cade Nunn, and Thomas Brooks Nunn.
Bea also has 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
