Drury Lee Singleton, Sr., 88, of Riesel, passed away Friday, August 28, 2020 at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospital.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2020 at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Riesel with Pastor Robby Kirby officiating
Drury was born February 14, 1932 in Liberty, County Texas to Drury Nie Singleton and Sally Edith Smith Singleton. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a truck driver most of his life and was a hard working man that loved the Lord and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Naomi Lee Singleton; multiple siblings; and three children.
Drury is survived by his loving children and a host of friends and other family.
Pallbearers will be Johnathan Singleton, Brad Singleton, Matt Singleton, Brandon Singleton, Terry Casper and William Warren.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Marek and Don Marek.
The family would like to thank New Hope Baptist Church in Riesel and the Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Hospice staff for their love and support.
