Dorothy Marie Toole, age 64, of Waco passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Kindred Hospital in Fort Wort. Dorothy was born in Waco on July 7, 1957 to parents Jim Ed Toole and Virginia (Ginger) Ray Toole.

Dorothy was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was devoted to her family and loved to spend as much time with them as possible. She had three children and thirteen grandchildren whom she cherished more than anything. She was the matriarch of her family and a loving mother hen.

Dorothy had an adventurous spirit and fun-loving personality. She was spunky, playful and full of color. She was a strong, determined and independent woman who worked hard to provide for her family. Dorothy loved music and loved to dance. She was known to cut a mean rug in her younger years. She loved to turn music up loud and clean her house. She loved bright colors, butterflies and wild flowers. Dorothy had a smile that would light up the room. She will forever be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; brother Jackie Ray Toole; and grandmother “Maw” Velma Maddox. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her true love and best friend Andy Dillinger; son Kevin Bennett and wife Erica; daughter Christi Bennett; son Bo Bennett and Lacy Brooks; brothers Johnny Wallace, Jim Ed Toole, Jr. (Duner) and wife Sharon, Timothy Toole; grandchildren Layne, Dax, Cash, Trinity, Keith, Jr., Zachary, Brenna, Journie, Shyanne, Lacy, Jezebel, Landon and Branson. In addition, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family members and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family 10-11AM on Monday, November 1, 2021 in the chapel of Lake Shore Funeral Home 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Funeral services will be 11AM at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Connel officiating. Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers are all of her grandchildren. Burial and committal will immediately follow at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco.
