Dorothy Hightower, 87, a longtime Waco area resident, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at a local nursing center. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Thursday, March 24th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Services will be 4PM Friday, March 25th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow the service in the funeral home

    i so enjoyed Dorothy and Abigail’s friendship at Lake Shore Estates. Dorothy was such an elegant woman and a blessing as a friend.

  10. What a wonderful person Ms Dorothy was. She was always so happy to see Alex and Casey (her great grand children). She loved family, was always helpful and very kind to everyone. She will be missed by so many people.

    she lived her life with gusto and was a joy to be around…her love of the Lord glowed on her face and through her words. I have wonderful memories from way back.
