Dorothy Faye Goforth, 74, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24th at a local hospital. Memorial services will be 10 AM Friday, September 27th at Park Lake Drive Baptist Church with Rev. Dorothy was born July 5, 1939 in Eastland, County to Carlton and Zettie (Morris) Stagner. She attended Ranger High School and graduated from Ranger Jr .College, where she was part of the Rangerettes. She retired from Waco ISD and continued to work in the medical field for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Paul Towne; sister, Sonja Varner; nephew, Skipper Varner; grandson, John Michael Adams; and great-grandson, Christian Parker.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Goforth; daughters, Paula Battles and husband, David, Patricia Murdock and husband, Tony, and Pamela Harding and husband, Ronney; brother, Carlton "Butch" Stagner; granddaughters, Heather Seymour, Tara Crain, Sarah Puryear, Lacey Romine, Chelsea Adams, and Miriah Towne; grandsons, Phillip Battles, Joshua Griffin and Nicholas Adams; fifteen great-grandchildren; and four nephews.

Memorials may be made to Park Lake Drive Baptist Church or Fuzzy Friends.
