Condolence from Barbara Smith on February 28th, 2014 9:13 am

The world’s precious gems are rare and beautiful. Dot is a gem that will be greatly missed by us all. I was truely blessed to know her and Peanut and could not have asked for better next door neighbors. Even on days when Dot was not feeling well, she found a smile and a kind word to say. Our hearts are sad and our prayers go out to Peanut and family. We love you, Barbara and Ron Smith

She was a very special lady and a joy to be around. My only regret is the short time we had together. We could laugh and talk non stop and I will miss that. I will cherish the memories we made. She was fun!!!

Dot was so special to me, and her upbeat personailty was an inspiration for all of us. She just recently sent Louis a card of encouragement. We were so touched because we knew that her health was in decline. She will live on in our hearts forever. Our sympathy to all who knew her.

Dear Peanut and family,

It was indeed a shock to read of the loss of our dear friend, Dot, when we opened our e-mail this morning. Dot was a special lady, so engaging and a loyal friend to us both. We will miss our friend Dot Davis, but regrettably, we will not be able to attend the services. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of this special lady and long-time friend, Jean’s bridge companion for so many years.

Our deepest sympathies and condolences from,

Ed and Jean Johnson

My Aunt Dot…she is so special to me and I will always remember her with love and affection. She has such a sweet heart and I always looked forward to being with her. I can remember when Connie and I went to her house in Bryan and stayed a week. She always made me feel so special and I will truly miss her. The kindness and love she always showed to me will truly be missed. My heart goes out to Billy and Uncle Peanut and I will pray for your peace and comfort. She will always live on in our hearts and I know she and daddy are "cuttin up" right now. I love you Aunt Dot.
