Doris Fay Grayson, 87, passed away January 8, 2023 in Waco, TX at Brookdale Lake Brazos Memory Care.
Doris was born January 24, 1935 In Magee, MS and graduated from Pinola High School in 1952.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents, Eula McLendon Grayson and Otto Grayson; and sister, Otis Jean Alanis.
She is survived by husband, Clinton A. Nickens; daughter, Carla Stoker Halbert; son-in-law, Mike Halbert; grandson, Justin Claunch; brother, Charles R. Grayson; sister-in-law, Phyllis Mays Grayson; and stepson, Brian Nickens
A Celebration of Life will be held 1pm Saturday, February 4th at Macedonia Baptist Church Fellowship.

I’ve been trying to locate Doris and today learned of her passing. Doris and my mother, Johnnie Watts, were very dear friends in the 60s and 70s. Doris was a very sweet person and I have many dear memories of her. Sending my deepest condolences to Carla and family.
