Donna L. Jones

Donna L. Jones, 83, of Waco,  went to heaven Thursday, January 31, 2019.  According to her wishes, she was cremated.
Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 9 at Patton Baptist Church in Valley Mills with Pastor Pat Cummings officiating.
Donna was born August 9, 1935 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her life took her to California, Colorado and Texas to name a few. Donna had a passion for children, horses and competing. She made it into a very successful Equestrian career. She was successful as a rider, trainer and as a coach. There are many of Donna’s students still competing to this day. Donna devoted her later years as an incredible caregiver for her husband, Pete until he passed away at the age of 85.
Donna is survived by her step-children, Kim Shane and Terry Jones and his wife, Lynette; and extended family, Jeff, Kitty, Katie, and Alex Gayon. Donna is also survived by four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

  1. I am so sorry for your loss. Donna was always a lot of fun..It didnt matter if you were laughing with her or at her the good thing is you were both always laughing..I am happy that Pete and Donna (mutt and jeff) will be together again. They were both very dear friends.
