Dolores Vasquez Romo, 60, of Waco, Texas, passed away peacefully, Saturday, July 31, 2021 in the comfort of her home a local residence here in Waco.

Service Information: A gathering will be held 4:30 p.m, Saturday, August 7, with family and friends at TK’s Rustic Ranch 2264 Spring Lake Rd Waco, TX 76705. At family’s request anyone is welcome to bring a dish. A memorial service will be celebrated on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 3:00pm, at 525 N 18th St Waco, 76708 Echo City Church, where she was a church member.

     Dolores was born April 16, 1961 in Waco, TX to Julian Vasquez and Lenor Garcia Vasquez. Dolores married her love the late Bonifacio “Barney” Romo in Waco, February 20,1998. Dolores was a Jack of all trades. She had no boundaries to what she wanted to do. She also enjoyed playing bingo and visiting Winstar.
     Dolores was proceeded in death by her grandmother Consuelo Garcia to whom she loved very dearly, mother Lenor G. Vasquez, husband Barney Romo, son Emilio Sanchez, brother David Vasquez, sister Diana Alvarado, niece Sylvia Alvarado, sister in law Alice Ordonez and brother in law Joe Romo.
    Dolores’s memory is cherished by her children, Anna and her husband, Larry Herrera Jr, Rosa Sanchez, Edward Sanchez and his wife, Lauren, Belinda and her husband, Robert Perez, Lacie Romo, Nick Romo, Jacob Martinez and Eric Martinez; her father, Julian Vasquez; sisters and brother in law’s, Anita Vasquez, Cynthia and her husband, Gilbert Mendoza and Gilbert Alvarado;  33 grandchildren; one great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
