Dianne Cook

Dianne Cook, 80, of Axtell, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at The Atrium of Bellmead.

Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 24th at Axtell Cemetery

Dianne was born February 27, 1941 in Ft. Worth Texas. She married Clifford W. Cook of Gholson and had two children, daughter Beverly and son, Jay. She was a supportive patrol officer’s spouse while Clifford served with Hurst Police Department for 10 years, then as he worked 25 years for Texas Highway Department, retiring in May 1994. After retirement, she and Clifford delivered Tymco products for 10 years throughout the U.S. while enjoying many sites. Dianne and Clifford were co-superintendents of McLennan County Junior Livestock Show-Rabbit Division for 34 years up until the time of her passing.

Dianne was preceded in death by husband, Clifford; daughter, Beverly Cook; and grandson, Corey Cook.

Survivors include son, Jay Cook and wife, Valerie of AR; grandchildren, Randall, Jason, James, Raymond, and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Logan, Quin and Riley; and extended family and friends, many who became like family over her many years.

Memorial contributions may be made to McLennan County Junior Livestock Show- Rabbit Division, 124 Dawn Drive, Robinson, TX 76706.

    I just saw this. Dianne was such a sweet and kind person . I met her when I worked at McLennan County Co-op She was my clients supervisor at the greenhouse by lake Waco. I thought the world of her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

    Were deeply saddened by Diannes passing. She was the nicest, kindest, most giving, person you could ever meet! We had been trying to contact her for a couple of weeks now, just found out today a week later of her passing, wish we would have known! She will be truely missed by all who knew her! Defiantly would have made the drive up from Houston for the service. Sending our thoughts and prayers for her family.
