Delani Kosier

Delani Kosier, 41, of Lacy-Lakeview, died unexpectedly on June 12, 2021. She will be missed dearly by her husband Jonathan Kosier, her children, Tristine Land, Summer Kosier, Kyra Land, Jonathan Kosier Jr, Haleigh Dawn, Alex Smith, her granddaughter Melodie Brichetto, and her many “adopted” children.
Delani was born on April 2, 1980, to Jimmy Leverne Land and Melodie Anne Land in Webster, TX. She spent her early childhood in Pearland, TX, with her older brothers, Jimbo (James), Chris and Nick, before moving to Reagan, TX in 1990.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, John Hairm Land and Mildred Louise Land, her mother Melodie Anne Land, and her brother Jimbo (James) Land.
She married her husband, Jonathan, on April 20, 2001. They were lucky to have met each other early in life and spent 20 beautiful years together.
Anyone who knew Delani, knew that she was a kind woman who could light up any room with her laughter. She had an immense passion for art, and could frequently be found behind a camera, or creating beautiful art pieces for her friends and family. Delani was an active member in the community, always the first one willing to step up and volunteer (even when she didn’t want to), because she couldn’t stand seeing others struggle when she knew she could help.
She will be missed dearly by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her, including her in-laws Jerry Kosier, Linda Kosier and Mary Duffel, her numerous brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be a visitation held on June 18, 2021, from 2-4 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

Sorry for your loss. Prayers are with you and family
    during this difficult time.

  3. Lani, we met when our husband’s were in AIT in Bliss then meeting back up once you all got to Germany, Summer was so little we adored your family and you all were so kind to watch Beth when I went into labor with Adin. My husband even considered Jon his best friend.
You were always welcoming even years later when we found ourselves back in TX our first Thanksgiving in Hood just days after we moved there, you and your whole family extended your hospitality to us no questions needed. You and Jon got married just a few months before us, an were one of only a few that we knew that were still married. I loved all the pics and watching your family on FB since leaving TX.
This world is a little less beautiful now that you are gone. You will be missed.
