Debra Lynn Townsend

Debra Lynn Townsend, of Waco, passed away on Tuesday evening January 1st, 2019.

Memorial Service: A memorial service celebrating the life of this beautiful woman will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, January 5th at Antioch Community Church — 510 N 20th St, Waco, TX 76707.

Debbie was born to late Bonnie Faye Henderson and John Richard Townsend on May 10, 1968, in Killeen, Texas. She was a 1986 graduate of McGregor High School. She later earned her Associate’s Degree in Webmaster Technology in 2006 from Texas State Technical College. Debbie was blessed with her first daughter, Paige Marino, in May of 1988 followed by her second daughter, Alyx Tighe, in December of 1994.

Debbie enjoyed reading novels, watching movies, and most of all spending time with her children and granddaughter, Zelvia Marino.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Paige Renea Marino and Alyx Megan Tighe, her son-in-law, Anthony Joseph Marino, and her sweet granddaughter, Zelvia Rose Marino. In addition, she is survived by her father, John Townsend, her siblings Ashley Vowel and Aaron Vowel, her sister-in-law Evelyn Vowel, and her nieces and nephew, Meghan Dunn, Emily Dunn, and Christopher (CJ) Dunn.

Debra Lynn Townsend was dedicated to her family and generous with those around her. Her sense of humor and thoughtfulness will be missed most. Though dearly missed, we know she is at peace and home with her Lord Jesus Christ.

  12. Debbie was always a great friend to my sister and I (the twins). We used to ride to school together in her Pinto. We spent many lunch times and weekends together just hanging out. She will be missed.
