I was so sorry to read of Big Dave’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this difficult time.

  4. Chief Swinson can be best described as a charismatic leader. He accomplished much through his ability to communicate with and motivate people. He certainly could have been an accomplished political leader, but he was very unassuming, humble and caring. At the same time he was an exceptionally gifted entrepreneur with amazing business acumen. He brought a special light to my life. It was a special event to have the opportunity to make a road trip and listen to his philosophy that would be accepted in any university classroom. But most important for me was his deep rooted values and appreciation of life. There is a light that has departed this earth, but through his lessons he lives on in our hearts.

  17. Penny & Family – you are in my prayers. I have seen David for the past several years at BSF, but never had him in my group until this year. He was such a blessing to us all. Despite his disability, he was focused on a closer relationship with Christ. His witness was an inspiration to our entire group. Although he was already a Christian when I met him, it was a joy to see him continuing to grow in Christ each week. Although selfishly we all will miss him, there is no doubt where he is today.

  26. My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. May you find comfort from the promises made by our loving Father.
