Condolence from Crozier Brown on February 28th, 2014 9:13 am

With great sadness, I read David’s obit in today’s Dallas News. We were in Boy Scouts together in Waco back in the 1950’s. I remember David and his father very well. I’ve also communicated with several other guys (Richard "Dick" Quick, Jerry Causey, & David Dibb – whose father was the local Scout Executive) today who remember David from Scouting days. We remember him as such a nice guy. We’ve had no contact for at least 50+ years and I had no idea he was in Lewisville. My sincere condolences to all of David’s family. Love leaves behind more than death can take away.

With sympathy,
Crozier Brown
Dallas

I had the plaeasure of working with Dave here on the DART project in Dallas for years. I never met a more competent professional at his craft; but what I remember is that he was always quick with a story or joke to lighten the day.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of the family. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with David at DART over the past 7 years. He was one of the kindest persons you would want to know. Always helping others. He loved his family and often spoke of the grandkids. A great person. He will be missed by all who knew him. May God comfort you in your time of sadness.

David was one of the nicest and sincere persons I have ever worked with. He always extended a helping hand and greet me with a smile on his face. The Lord may have taken David from us here on earth, but He has enriched Heaven.

Condolence from Tammy McCreery on February 28th, 2014 9:14 am

I am so sorry for your loss. The pain of losing someone you love can be overwhelming. As you cherish the fond memories that you hold dear, may you also find comfort in knowing that our loving heavenly Father Jehovah promises us that very soon, he will by means of his son Jesus ‘swallow up death forever, and wipe the tears from all faces.’ (Isaiah 25:8) What a wonderful day that will be! He also give the promise of a future resurrection of our loved ones, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." I hope these few words will bring you a measure of hope.
