Dana (Smith) Flores, 45, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Graveside services will be 11AM Saturday, April 28th at China Spring Cemetery with Rev. Brandon Frenzell officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Friday, April 27th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
Dana was born August 7, 1966 in Waco to Bobby and Kay (Robinson) Smith. She graduated from China Spring High School in 1984 and then attended MCC Cosmetology School. She worked in various offices at the courthouse and was also a licensed cosmetologist.
She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, James Carl and Ruby Robinson; and paternal grandparents, Dub and Geraldine Smith.
Survivors include beloved daughters, Josey and Jamey; parents, Bobby and Kay Smith of Waco; aunts, uncles, numerous cousins and friends.
Memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends Rescue.

We are so sorry for your loss. I loved Dana. She was such a sweet person. Jamey and Josey, Live the best life that you can. You are beautiful girls and have your whole life ahead of you. Depend on God to get you through this and He will. Kay & Bobby, I know your hearts are broken, but know that you have friends, family and God to depend on. Our prayers and love are with you all.

To Dana’s family. I am so sorry for your loss, please know that God is with you all during this difficult time. I was one grade ahead of Dana at China Spring and remember playing softball with her back in elementary school. The Questelle’s were our coaches. Dana was a lovely person and I am sorry that we all lost touch over the year’s. God Bless You all!!
I was so shocked to hear the passing of this sweet woman I had not seen her in years but her dad and my dad worked together my thoughts and prayers are with all the family

my sympathy got out to the smith family.i sorry for ur lost dana was a beautiful person she loved her family so much we came best friends about 4yr ago i will miss her so much she was a wonderful person we spent alot of time togther and she talked about her girl all the time

Dana was my friend in junior high, mostly, although we graduated together from China Spring. I had not kept up with her but am saddened to hear of her passing. She was a sweet person gone too soon from this world. I’ll remember her as intense and fun. May you somehow find comfort in the Lord as you mourn Dana’s death. Blessings to you.
