  19. Dale made a fantastic impact on so many young lives during his years with softball. My daughter, Kori Kitcher McWhorter, was one of those girls who went to school with Lindsay and was coached by Dale. He had the patience and knew just how to pull out the best in them both on and off the field. To Dana, Lindsay and all of the family we morn your loss, Dale will not be forgotten.

  20. How appropriate to have the baseball background for Dale!
Our kids and baseball was a passion that he and I shared…except maybe the Yankees…but Dale was such a awesome guy, that I forgave him of that flaw!
Jana & Dale and my husband & I would sit along the baseline at the Midway baseball games cheering on our boys and sharing stories about our kids during sweltering heat or freezing cold!
Dale always kept a score sheet so if I missed something because I was "socializing" too much, he could tell me what I missed.
Many times, as I reminisce about the "good ‘ol days", my mind naturally drifts to the baseball field and of course Dale is right there, a huge part of those memories.
    Jana, Landon, and family…
My heart breaks for your loss.
The guestbook entries really tell the story of a wonderful person and how he touched many people’s lives…I hope that as you read them, it brings you a certain peace that helps you through the difficult days ahead.
You will remain in our thoughts and prayers.

    The Martin Family
    Kenneth, Ginni, Justin & Randi

I’m so sorry for your loss. I understand what it’s like to lose a spouse since I lost mine 3 1/2 years ago.
You and your children are in my thoughts and prayers. This is not an easy time when one loses a loved one, but we can take comfort in knowing that we will see our loved ones again at the Return of Christ. 43. Dear Jana, Lindsey, Brianne. and Landon. I am so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you all in the days ahead. I don’t need to tell you what a wonderful husband and father you had. He also was a great friend to many. Jerry and I were two of those friends. I never saw him without a big grin on his face. He loved sports as much as Jerry does. They could sit for hours just talking sports. He always would enclude me in the conversation if I was there. Shared good meals and good times together. We will miss him tremendouly. He could keep you in stitches from his jokes too. He had a great love for his children. He was always telling us and keeping us up to date on what you were doing. God has a new angel today. I know all his family up there are rejoicing in their reunion.

  44. MAY GOD BLESS AND KEEP THE FAMILY .IN YOUR TIME OF GRIEVING KEEP THE FAITH GOD WILL MAKE YOU STRONG.

    Uncle Dale,

I am still not able to fathom that you are gone. It seems like yesterday you were at our wedding with Jana. You came up to me and hugged me and told me you were so proud of me for turning my life around. I will never forget your infectious smile and love for your family. I know our Lord is truly blessed to welcome a man, husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend of your awesome nature into his kingdom. You’ve definitely lived your calling on this earth and for that I will never forget you. We love you and miss you.

    Your Loving Nephew,
