Colleen Cobbs DeKeyser

Colleen Cobbs DeKeyser, 73, of Waco, passed away peacefully December 31, 2018 in Waco.

Celebration of Life: 2:00 PM Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Bosqueville United Methodist Church, 7327 Rock Creek Road, in Waco. Following the memorial service, family and friends will be gathering at the family home.

Colleen was born March 16, 1945 in Los Angeles, California.  Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family and friends. Colleen loved to travel, Christmastime and the music of Steve Wariner. She recently traveled to New York City with her family, where she enjoyed the beauty of the sights, sounds of the city, and even met Santa Claus at Macy’s Department Store.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie H. Cobbs and Myrtle Cobbs Wortham; step-father, Robert S. Wortham; brother, William Cobbs; and step-brother, Robert Wortham.

Colleen is survived by step-sister, Jeanne Bryant; her children, Shelly DeKeyser McLemore and Dennis DeKeyser; her grandchildren, Jessica DeKeyser, Lindsey McLemore, and Joshua DeKeyser. She will be missed by many other relatives and friends.
