I am so sorry to hear about Curtis’ passing. He was a really good friend to my husband, Jack Stanley, before he died. Curtis was always willing to visit and made sure to come see Jack in the hospital and at home when he wasn’t able to go to Griffs. I always looked forward to seeing him when I was at Griffs. I will miss him.

So sad to hear about Curtis passing and our thoughts and prayers are with you all. So many great memories of the Beckhams and baseball. A comical memory of Curtis we were playing a tournament little league game and everyone knows how soft spoken Curtis was. Well sitting behind home plate was Curtis & Joan along withj Junior & Nancy Hall. Junior was giving this home plate umpire fits on every pitch that didnt go our way. In the 2nd inning he umpire call time walks to the backstop and points at Curtis and tells him one more word out of you and I’ll kick you out if the ball park. And being perfectly honest Curtis said “I haven’t sad nothing”. Well Junior piped down and all was well the rest of the game. By the way we won.

The service for Curtis was so nice. I really enjoyed the music and hearing the stories of Curtis.
Curtis and Joan were such good people, and it was a privilege to have known them.
Curtis’ passing will change your lives forever, but I pray God and your precious memories will give you strength and comfort.

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family on the loss of your dad. He was a great guy (and your mom too!) and a super neighbor. Several years ago, your dad gave me a tree that I planted in my front yard when I moved. He said it would take years before it was big enough to provide enough shade to sit under.
