Chuck Leffert, 70, of China Spring, passed away February 16, 2012 at a local nursing home. A memorial service will be at 11 am Monday, February 20, 2012 at Speegleville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Bailey officiating. Visitation will be at Lake Shore Funeral Home from 4 to 6 pm Saturday, February, 18, 2012. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
Chuck was born on Aug. 17, 1941, in Plymouth, IN to John and Mary Cecilia (Knight) Leffert. He married Carol Mak on September 8, 1978, which was already a special day- it was Carol

Condolences for the family of “Chuck Leffert”
Sometimes it’s hard to face death if it comes on negative terms. But that’s not the case with Charlie. He would never pass up a challenge. I think of all the past good times we shared as brothers. The move to Texas with Carol was good. It may have distanced the two of us,but I feel it brought Charlie closer to Carol and his children. That is all that matters. The small light that flickered through the Christmas cards we shared may seem small but it was that contact that held us together. I’m proud to say Charlie was my brother. God Bless You, Charlie.
