Charles Arthur Stewart, 92, of Waco passed away Saturday, December 3rd 2022. He was born to Horace and Minnie (Rhodes) Stewart in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Charlie married Billie (Leamon) of Lamesa, Texas in 1948 and were married for 65 years until her passing in 2013. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and worked for General Dynamics for 37 years.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Minnie Stewart; wife, Billie Stewart; daughters, Donna Jo King and Nancy Lee Barnard.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan Diane Peterson; son, Gary Stewart (Sally); grandchildren, Bobby Baldwin, Ricky Baldwin (Lorie), Derek Peterson, Andy King (Melinda), Eric Barnard, Mary Barnard, Sara Barnard, and Stephen Stewart (Jennifer). Charlie also leaves behind many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews to honor his memory.
