Bonnie Lou Griffin, 74, of China Spring, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014.

Visitation: 4-6pm, Sunday, April 13, at Lake Shore Funeral Home.

Graveside Service: 11:30am, Monday, April 14, at China Spring Cemetery.

Bonnie was born April 20, 1939 to Dave and Marie (Nickerson) Sharp in Waco. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 56 years, Sonny Griffin of China Spring; two sons, Terry Griffin and wife, Leanne, of GA, and Kevin Griffin and wife, Karen, of China Spring; three granddaughters, Teresa Bachman and husband, Michael, of New Braunsfel, Amanda King and husband, Jim, of GA, and Haley Griffin of China Spring; four grandsons, Ryan Griffin and wife, Kayla of GA, Jared Griffin and wife, Jenni, of Crawford, Cody Nevels of GA, and Hayes Griffin, also of GA; and five precious great-grandchildren, Harleigh Melancon of GA, Logan Bachman of New Braunsfel, Barrett Bachman of New Braunsfel, Mason Griffin of Crawford, and Landon Griffin of Crawford; one brother, David Sharp of Dallas; and many other dear family members and friends.

    I have know Bonnie and James since high school, and even though we did not see
    each other for years and years, I always saw her on Face Book. I will miss seeing and
    looking at the pictures of each of their great-grandchild, as she always posted their
    picture. You are resting now. James you and your family are in my prayers at this time.

    Albert & I have enjoyed getting to know you, Sonny, and renewing friendship with Bonnie and our little Class of ’57 dinner meetings over the past few years. We were so sorry to hear of Bonnie’s passing. we were surprised as we had just been with you for dinner about a month ago. Our prayers and sympathy are with you and the fmaily.
