Bonnie Bright, 68, of Chalk Bluff, passed away Saturday, May 18th at her residence with her family by her side. Funeral services will be 2PM Wednesday, May 22nd at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Tuesday, May 21st at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.

Bonnie Elaine (Johnson) Bright was born October 17, 1944 in Waco to James Oliver and Ruby C. (Hennig) Johnson. She married William G. "Bill" Bright on April 15, 1960 in Waco. She worked for Connally I.S.D. as a food service manager. She was a member of Chalk Bluff Baptist Church.

    I extend my love and sympathy to you at this time. I had the joy and privilege to work with Bonnie at Connally Elementary for so many years. She truly cared for our students and us, teachers. I know it is hard to part with , "our moms", but just think, she can walk now , cook , and do her art projects without pain and struggle. May God grant you peace and comfort.
