Bobbie Jean Jobe, 75, of Patrick, passed away Tuesday, July 23rd at her residence. Funeral services will be 10AM Monday, July 29th at China Spring United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Jobe officiating. Burial will follow at Patrick Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 – 4PM Sunday, July 28th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Bobbie was born March 6, 1938 in Waco to T.J. and Evelyn (Teague) McCrary. She was the manager of Hancock’s Fabrics in Waco for 35 years until retirement and was a member of China Spring United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Jobe, Sr.; and one great grandchild.

Survivors include her sons, James Edward Jobe, Jr. of Patrick, and Steve Jobe and wife Tami of Valley Mills; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Judy Briniger and husband AC of Rock Creek; dear friend, Daryl Cox and his children; special friends, J.R. and Lisa Hood and their family; and numerous other relatives.

Memorials may be made to Patrick Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 729, China Spring, TX 76633.

Bobbie was a dear friend to me for many years. She assisted in my promotion to store manager for Hancock’s from stock boy while I was attending college and I will never forget her kindness to me and my family. I know you are one of God’s dearest angels now, Bobbie. Rest In Peace, dear Friend.
