Graveside Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, July 19, 2019, at Oakwood Cemetery.

Billy Lloyd McLennan was born January 3, 1924 to Ernest and Geneva McLennan in Valley Mills, Texas

Time To Embrace and a Time to Serve

Billy grew up in Valley Mills, Texas and attended Valley Mills High School. He married Dorothy McLennan in 1966. He had 3 children and 3 stepchildren. Billy was employed by Pool Lumber company and later moved to Waco, Texas where he was employed at Cameron Mills as a driver. Billy was a member of Westpoint Methodist in Valley Mills, Texas.

A Time to Play

Billy was very devoted to his family and loved being a carpenter at home and in the community. He was a gentle spirit whom everyone loved. He was a quiet, meek and pleasant gentleman to all. We will miss Grandpa Boots, Mr. Bill, Uncle Billy or Uncle Bill.

A Time To Die

Billy answered God’s call to his eternal home and departed from this life Wednesday, July 10, 2019.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy McLennan; mother, Geneva McLennan; father, E.R. McLennan, Sr.; sons, Billy Don McLennan and Michael Brazwell; brothers, Woodson Donald McLennan, Van McLennan, Raydell McLennan and E.R. McLennan, Jr.; sisters, Valeria Gore and Maud Hackett.

He leaves to mourn daughters, Beverly McLennan, of Athens, TX; Barbara(Lennis) Jones, of Desoto, TX; sons, Ronald Brazwell and Gene Brazwell, of Waco, TX; sisters, Gladys Hightower, of Las Vegas, NM and Marva Waldrus, of Austin, TX; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
