
Billy Joe Sandhoff, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
Memorial Service: 2PM Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Lake Shore Funeral Home.
Billy Sandhoff was born on September 1, 1938, in McLennan County to August Sandhoff and Nola Boren. He was a devoted husband to Patricia, and together they created a warm and nurturing home that served as a gathering place for their loved ones.
A proud member of the Waco community, Billy had a distinguished career, retiring from Coca-Cola. He also worked as a delivery driver for Waco Printing and Thrifty Nickel, where his friendly demeanor and dedicated service touched the lives of many.
Billy will be remembered for his kind spirit, sense of humor, and enduring love for his family. He was a man of integrity, whose devotion to those he loved was evident in everything he did. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date, allowing all who knew him to come together in remembrance and tribute.
He is survived by his wife, Paricia Nell (Toten) Sandhoff; daughters, Kristi Sandhoff and Kaci Karas and husband, Ian; grandchildren, Sydney Karas, Maysen Karas and Kyndal Karas; beloved family friends (honorary grandchildren), Braden Sifers, Bryson Sifers and Tatum Michel; brother, Jackie Sandhoff; sisters, Sue Bullington and Nancy Mininger (Craig) and sisters-in-law, Marilyn Sandhoff and Alilene Sandhoff.
He was preceded in death by parents, August and Nola Sandhoff; brothers, Ralph Sandhoff, Ross Sandhoff, Donald Sandhoff and William (Dub) Sandhoff; sisters Francis Juntunen, Janie Wells and Judy Sandhoff.
Billy’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to shine brightly in the lives of everyone he touched. Rest in peace, dear Billy. You will be greatly missed.
