Billy Joe Miles, 79, a lifetime resident of Waco, passed away Monday, January 31, 2011 at a Temple hospital. Military graveside services will be 2PM Friday, February 4th at Rose mound Cemetery with Pastor Ronnie Holmes officiating. Visitation will also be Friday, February 4th from 10AM to Noon at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. My deepest sympathy to all of Bill’s family and friends. May God be with you at this difficult time. Bill was a great uncle to me for 12 years and I learned many things from him. We have had many wonderful times together.May he rest in peace.

Billy Joe was a super nice guy! . He and I, "Bubba", and sometimes called, "Butter," lived on the same street when we were in Jr. Hi. We had lots of fun in those days. Everyone had a nickname and his was "The Belcher". My wife, Rita was also in school with us. We both have fond memories of our young lives together and remained friends through all these years. Take comfort in the knowlege that you will see him again.

My deepest sympathy to all the family for the loss of Bill. It has been many years since I last saw him and still remember my first meeting with him…I still chuckle when I think of it. He was a good man and loved by many. God Bless you all and keep you strong knowing he is sitting in God’s house now and smiling down on all.

Bill was a good man, He was my brother in law for 12 years.We fished together we had loads fun. He will be missed deeply. My deepest sympathy.
