There was never in my life anyone I was happier to work along side of than Billy. I was lucky to work with Billy so many years in the PTSD program, where he provided constant, dependable and inspiring care to veterans and the team. He was a gentle rock. I often told him I envied the size of his hands – literally, his hands were so big – but also his hands could hold so much. He could handle a lot. Only outdone by the size of his heart.

Thank you, and rest in peace, dear Billy.

Condolence from Al”zada Kennedy on October 30th, 2022 6:27 pm

I’m so sorry I missed attending Mr. Anderson (Billy) service. We shared a love for the Lord in ALL season s. We worked together on PTSD unit. Mrs. Laura thank you for sharing your husband with the program. He was a educator, mentor, encourager, supporter and true friend. I know many days I would have given up, but the God in him prayed for me like I was his daughter. I will forever be grateful. Ms. Laura, I personally know how blessed Billy felt having you as his wife, and he loved you, his daughter and granddaughters so very much. I called him a man’s/man”s he was always the gentleman and those are hard to see these days. I’ll be in touch I promise and know you and family are in my prayers!!!
