Bettye Lee (Jordan) Springer, 72, of China Spring, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012. Services will be 2PM Friday, February 24th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel at 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Burial will follow at China Spring Cemetery. Bettye Lee was born March 24, 1939 in Waco to James Garrett and Evie Lee (Bryant) Jordan. She attended University High School. She married the love of her life, Herbert Lynn Springer on June 18, 1955 at her parent

I worked with Bettye at Sears. She was such fun, always friendly and upbeat. I so enjoyed her. We used to sit together at the Red Cross Blood Center’s annual donor dinners. She will be missed.
