Betty Staton, 71, passed away Monday, September 28th.

Memorial Service: 11AM Thursday, October 1st at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel.

Betty was born on December 2, 1943 to Wesley Abernathy “WA” Terry and Mella Marie Ferrill Terry in Waco. She was a graduate of Richfield High School and Baylor University. She will be remembered for her smile and her humor. She made friends wherever she went and always wanted to help whether it was asked of her or not. She lost her struggle with Dementia and Breast Cancer at 11:05AM on Monday, September 28, 2015. She passed peacefully and without pain.

She was preceded in death by father, WA; sister, Dixie Marie Green of Round Rock, brother Bobby GeneTerry of Waco; and her partner, Diane Olivia Tribe of Waco.

She is survived by her mother, Mella Terry of Waco; her sons, Terry Sebastian Staton of Waco, and Wesley Dean Staton of Georgetown; and granddaughter, Lena Marie Staton of Georgetown.
