Bertha Bob Davis, a life-time resident of Lacy Lakeview, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012. Funeral services will be 10AM Wednesday, July 25th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Woody Wilson, and Rev. Nathan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8PM Tuesday, July 24th at Lake Shore Funeral Home, 5201 Steinbeck Bend in Waco. Thoughts and memories may be shared in the online Guest Book at www.LakeShoreFuneralHome.com.
Bertha Bob was born October 6, 1922, the fifth of six girls to Frank Leslie and Hattie Lou (Templeton) Oakes. She married Kenneth Harold Davis, Sr. on December 24, 1942 in Lacy Lakeview. Bill and I were saddened to learn of the passing of your precious mother. Her life touched so many of our lives in ways that will remain in our hearts forever. Our parents are all together in Heaven now talking about the pride and joy we gave to them in their lives.
